Mixed Ability Pilates Classes

Mat Pilates - Mondays 10-11am

The classes include both contemporary and classical Pilates mat based exercises and modifications are offered for all levels. The classes are structured but varied, to offer a different challenge each week.

Dynamic Pilates - Thursdays 9.30-10.30am
Dulwich Village SE21

A flowing, dynamic Pilates class, incorporating optional light hand weights with standing functional movements. After a warm-up the class continues with a flowing sequence of squats, lunges and plank exercises. The second section of the class includes the traditional mat based pilates exercises with a focus core strength, alignment, joint stability and mobility.

Karen’s particular strength is differentiation – she has an awareness of individual abilities and can pitch the exercises so we can all benefit, regardless of ability and we are all encourage to improve. Karen also responds positively to feedback from her clients and varies the exercises to keep us interested and motivated in a pleasant and supportive group.
